A Guide to Wedding Dress Fabrics

When choosing your own wedding dresses, what is your priority, the stylish style or the fabrics or just take the price into consideration. Today I would like to give you some information on different fabrics. Altogether there are many different fabrics but commonly all can be divided into 6 parts, they are tulle, organza, satin, chiffon, lace and taffeta.


Tulle: Tulle is a slightly stiff, fine net fabric that can be used to add fullness and structure. Made from silk or a silk mix, tulle is light and sheer and is often used to make trains and veils.
Chiffon: A classic fabric for wedding dresses, chiffon is a sheer fabric that is usually combined with heavier materials to add detail to wedding gowns, such as cut out sections or sleeves. It can also be used to create layers, underskirts, veils and trains, with its wonderful draping properties.
Organza: Organza is much like Georgette, except it has a little more body and stiffness, helping to create shape and structure in your dress.
 

The above three one is the most commonly used in wedding dresses, whatever you choose for your special day, always make sure that you have try on many gowns and find which is the most comfortable one, so be patient when choose your bridal gown.
